Through integrating vocational education with general education National Education policy 2020 aims to revolutionize existing education system in the country and preparing dexterous workforce for 21st century. In the light of National Education policy 2020, a Regional Workshop on National Education Policy 2020 for Development of State Wise Action Plans for Strengthening Vocational Education in North-East Region held at Pandit Sunderlal Sharma Central Institute of Vocational Education (PSSCIVE), Shyamla Hills, Bhopal from 26th to 28th September 2023.
It was an insightful and brainstorming workshop wherein major focus was on dissemination of quality vocational education according to socio-economic landscape of the states and fortifying vocational education with general education in north east region of the country. In this workshop, an academic delegation of north- east India and Mrs. Jyoti Rajawat, academic officer of BOSSE participated where they addressed future endeavours in the area of vocational education and training for the holistic development of students.
